Want to have taste of what you might see in the Jukebox Dance Show? Pineapple dancers will be performing some of the routines of the Jukebox setlist this weekend.
On Saturday they will be performing one of the jazz routines as guest artists of the Phoenix Belly Dance Showcase. And on Sunday you will be able to spot most of the Jukebox cast in all the choreographies created by Julie for City Dance Showcase. It is still time to book your tickets for both events.

Two new dancers in the Jukebox!
We have two new dancers joining us for a couple of choreographies for this season of the show: Karen Rodriguez and Navin Nair joining us. They are hard working contemporary students of choreographer Julie Anterrieu and have been invited to appear in all 4 shows!
They started training with the company last week, beginning work on a much loved routine, "Keep Me Quiet". We look forward to being on the stage with them.

The Jukebox on Pledgeme - 32 days left to reach our pledge!
As you may already know, Pineapple has been selected to perform during the Auckland Fringe Festival 2013 at the Q Theatre for 4 dates running from 20th-23rd February 2013. During this great festival, Pineapple Productions will be presenting the second season of The Pineapple Jukebox Dance Show. Yeah!
Why is Pineapple on PledgeMe?
The total cost of the project is $7000. Quite a huge amount for a small company like us! We have decided to ask now our friends, families, followers and anybody interested in our project to help us to pay for the venue hire.
To be successful we need to reach $4,360! Which mean if 218 people give $20 we will be successful, not that hard for such a big planet!
No matter how much you’d like to give, every contribution is important in bringing this original show to the Auckland stage!
How do I pledge?
How else can I help?
Thanks again for making our project possible!
Please contact us at pineappleproductionsdance@gmail.com if you'd like to get in touch to help out or to find out more about Pineapple Productions.

Rolling!
To fund part of the second season of the Pineapple Jukebox Dance Show (i.e. pay for the venue), we have been looking into crowdfunding and especially Pledge Me New Zealand. The production and media team have been brainstorming and spent few hours this weekend working on a short video to promote our funding campaign...
Here is a sneak peek of the shoot...
